Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III joined by Council Chair Andrea Harrison, Council Vice Chair Eric Olson, several members of the Prince George’s County Council and other County Officials announced the opening of the County’s new 3-1-1 Call Center during a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the County Administration Building. 

The Call Center officially opened for business on Monday, October 1st and is a part of  the Office of Community Relations and staffed with experienced constituent services representatives who are prepared and ready to receive non-emergency citizen requests ranging from potholes to blighted properties.  

The County Click Call Center was made possible through the collaboration of several agencies that included: Office of Information Technology, Office of Human Resources Management, Office of Central Services and the Office of Community Relations. 
  
“I am elated that this day has finally come for the residents and citizens of Prince George’s County.  CountyClick 3-1-1 is a one-stop location that residents can call to get answers to questions and resolve non-emergency issues,” said Baker.  “This will make a tremendous impact on off-setting the volume non-related emergency calls our 9-1-1 dispatchers receive.  Some of our neighboring jurisdictions were already on-board with 3-1-1 and I am pleased that in less than a year since assuming office, our County agencies heeded my call to action and worked diligently to bring this greatly needed service into fruition.  This is an opportunity for our government to not only serve, but, most importantly, expedite matters of importance to our residents.”  

The CountyClick 3-1-1 Call Center has 26 representatives to assist callers and is managed by Jennifer Hawkins.  In the coming weeks, Spanish-speaking representatives will be added to complement the current staff.  The call center’s hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.  Citizens and residents can also access CountyClick by going to countyclick311.com or  download the app to any Apple or Android mobile device.
